Lanham, MD (October 24, 2024) – FedChoice Federal Credit Union is excited to announce the grand reopening of its IRS National Financial Service Center (FSC), located at 1111 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20224. The celebration took place on October 22, 2024, following a period of renovation and modernization. The FSC is now ready to welcome members back with an enhanced experience and improved services.
The updated FSC, located within the IRS Headquarters Building, now features a brand-new Interactive Teller Machine and dedicated staff on-site. These enhancements are designed to make banking more accessible and convenient for all members. The Credit Union was honored to have IRS Commissioner Werfel speak at the event and participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
This reopening marks nearly 90 years of service to IRS employees and reinforces our long-standing partnership. We invite all members to visit and discover the exciting new features at FedChoice.
During the ceremony, FedChoice President and CEO Brett Noll said, “We are so delighted to have Commissioner Werfel joining us on this wonderful and important occasion. FedChoice will be celebrating its 90th anniversary next year and our Credit Union was created right in this building, by federal employees for federal employees. These are words we use to this day, 90 years later, and we will continue to serve those members of the federal community who serve our great nation every day.”
