There is no charge for a new debit card; however if the card is lost or damaged, there is a $5.00 replacement fee.
Members can spend up to $2500.00 per day with their VISA debit card. ATM withdrawls are limited to $1000.00 per day.
The terms “debit card” and “check card” mean the same thing. A debit card withdraws money from your checking account as a check does; therefore, it debits your account. It can also withdraw money from your savings account, if you have it set up that way when you ask for a card. It can be used to make purchases at any retail establishment that displays the Visa logo.
If you suspect your card is lost, stolen, or compromised, contact the Credit Union via phone at 301.699.6151, secured message, chat or email to close and order a new card. Please do not send any card information such as your member number or credit card over email.
